Shashank Khade is the Equity specialist of Entrust with over 26 years of cumulative professional experience in listed and unlisted equity investment management. Before co-founding Entrust, Shashank was the Senior Vice-President and Head of Portfolio Management Services division of Kotak Mutual Fund, a position he held between 2006 and 2013. By the end of his tenure, he was managing over INR 2000 crore across various portfolio management schemes. He was part of the team that conceptualised some of the best performing PMS schemes of Kotak such as the Fortune Series.

Prior to joining Kotak, Shashank was an integral part of the private equity investment team of IL&FS Investment Managers Ltd (then IL&FS Venture Corporation), managing this volatile asset class for 5 years during the dotcom era. Shashank’s passion for equity is reflected in his in-depth knowledge of Indian companies across sectors and market caps.
